This Vista estate already had incredible bones — a grand Mediterranean-style home with Roman columns, hillside views, and a sprawling outdoor courtyard — but the ground surface wasn't keeping up with the rest of the property. We installed a large-format travertine-style paver grid across the entire courtyard, with premium artificial turf set precisely in the joints between each paver to create a bold, uniform checkerboard pattern at full scale. A drainage system was integrated beneath the surface to handle runoff across the expansive footprint, ensuring the installation performs just as well functionally as it looks visually. The turf lines run cleanly in both directions, wrapping around the column bases and transitioning seamlessly from the tiled patio edge to the open courtyard.
