This Chula Vista front yard was overdue for a proper remodeling treatment — a large, sprawling lawn area in front of a Spanish-style estate that wasn't living up to the scale or character of the home it fronted. The homeowner wanted a dramatic upgrade that would complement the home's architecture, eliminate irrigation costs, and deliver standout curb appeal from the street.
As part of this front yard remodeling project, we installed premium artificial turf across the full lawn area, cutting cleanly around the base of the mature palm trees and fitting flush against the existing planter beds filled with white river rock. A long diagonal row of large-format 2x2 concrete stepping pads was set through the turf leading toward the driveway, creating a bold, grid-style pathway that adds strong visual structure to the open lawn. The turf and stepping pad layout work together to frame the home's grand facade and draw the eye naturally from the street to the front entrance.
