We installed a large tumbled paver patio as the primary outdoor living surface, laid in a warm tan and beige ashlar pattern that gives the space a natural, organic feel while providing a durable, stable base for furniture and everyday use. Surrounding the patio and framing the sod lawn, we installed a sweeping river rock border in white and grey tones — a curved dry creek-style boundary that creates a clean, defined edge between the hardscape and the lawn while adding visual texture to the space. Fresh sod was installed across the full backyard lawn area with a new irrigation system underneath, ensuring the lawn stays green and healthy throughout Ramona's warm, dry season. A planting bed with fresh mulch and new shrubs was established along the rear fence line, and a flag pike was set into the lawn to complete the outdoor living setup.
